2003 Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5 from North America - Comments

"Would recommend this beauty to anyone"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Minor interior squeaks.

Few panel lamps start to fail.

Chrome from alloy wheels start to peel off due to Canadian winters.

General comments?

Got the car used, in great condition.

Bought the car due to its unique design & style. I'd say it combines best things from Europe (like fog light at rear, overall design and ergonomics) and N. America (engine, luxury).

So far totally satisfied with the quality, handling and

ergonomics.

Car has more "toys" that I really need for driving :) Fast, stylish, convenient and fun to drive.

The "Shortstar", as the 3.5L was called then, is proof the US can build engines just as desirable and reliable as the Japanese can. Too bad GM felt it was too expensive to manufacture in the long run.
