1994 Oldsmobile Ciera S review from North America
"It's like driving a compact couch that represents comfort, reliability, and Americana!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing major has gone wrong as the fault of the car, more or less the drivers...
Has had major body work done after being totaled twice.
Starter went out at 80,000.
Alternator and battery replaced at 82,000.
Transmission rebuilt at 84,000 (fault of drivers)
Rear drivers side window replaced (after being shot out while driving) at 79,000 (don't ask)
Cassette player broken, radio still works at 80,000.
General comments?
This car's been through a lot of hardships. It's lived outside for it's entire life, and abused by my brother's and by myself when I was learning to drive.
It is a really nice for for the money. My grandparents bought it brand new and took good care of it. When they died we inherited it, and it's kept us safe in a lot of sticky situations.
I would recommend it to anyone.
Fuel economy: 17city, 24hwy.
