1990 Oldsmobile Ciera review from North America
"Way to go, GM!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Electric coolant fan went out at 190,000 miles.
Starter went out at 195,000 miles. Shortly afterward the serpentine belt broke.
One day I was going down the road the temp. light came on. I pulled over, turned the car off because I thought it was overheating. But it did not overheat at all!But when I tried to start it back it wouldn't start. I had to call the tow truck. Only time it left me stranded.
General comments?
I bought this car for a really low price from a local dealer--just 550 bucks!I had it for a year and a half when it acted up.
I should have got a good mechanic to fix the car;instead I am using it for parts for my 1991 Ciera which I've had 8 years!
