1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme International review from North America
"Beautiful but costly luxury coupe"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bought car the with some weird brake problem (had no power brakes), ended up being the Anti-lock Braking System which costs up to $1000 and is more rare than Uranium (not kidding).
It does have a lot of electrical problems - alternator blew out a lot.
Calipers and general brake problems a lot.
Good luck getting parts for this car cheaply. A door handle costs $50 from the junk yard, and they have transmission troubles too. NOT A CHEAP CAR.
If you have one that has a (heads up display) - the windshield is more than $300.
Almost any part on this car is expected to be over $100 dollars.
General comments?
It is very nice, very comfortable car. But if you want one of these cars make sure it doesn't have Anti-lock Break System on it - and that you have a lot of money to fix it up.
On the International series there is a very special feature (on some). A head's up display (displays your speed on the windshield) - very very nice.
