1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible review from North America
"A fun drop top"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the alternator at 55,000 miles.. partly due to my $2,500 stereo system.
Brakes and rotors at 56,000.
Rear window re-sealed after filling my spare tire compartment with water.
When I would start it up on a cold morning it would rev to high rpm's then stall out which resulted in the intake manifold gaskets being replaced 1 week after I bought the vehicle which is expensive.
Spark plug wires also went bad at about 62,000 miles.
General comments?
Despite the problems, I like my car. It is a very comfortable car that has lots of room, for being a convertible. There is nothing like dropping the top on a warm summer day (or night for that matter) and letting the wind blow through your hair. I would probably buy another, but I'm betting my next car will be a Z28.
