Despite the temptation to upgrade to something newer, I continue driving the Oldsmobile, and it continues to meet my needs.
I reviewed this car about five years ago on this site, and thought I would update that review since I continue to own and drive the car.
Still performing superbly. Cruises the interstate like a champ, rides in perfect comfort. Hard to fault a car that you've driven for twenty six years, that has never once let you down.
Regardless of whether I cave in and buy that Toyota that I'm looking at, I'll continue to keep and drive the Oldsmobile. It just hit 100K, and I know it has many more miles left than I do, so I'm confident that, since I'm now retired, I can if I choose to do so drive this car for the rest of my life.
Nice car, I've always been a big fan of the late 1970s GM full size cars and I wish America would have the sense to make cars like that again. To me the late 1970s/early 1980s full size cars are the last of the real American cars.
