Just normal stuff: new battery, new brakes, oil changes every 3,000 miles, new hoses, new belts, and transmission fluid changed at 58,000. Other than that, no problems at all.
I got my baby from my grandparents who kept the thing garaged for the last six years. The car is mint with a shiny paint job and authentic vinyl top. She starts right up and purrs like a kitten. I was offered $3,000 for her once. It's really comfortable and glides like an airplane.
One problem is that it's long and hard to park, but it has a tight turning radius. And the only other problem is gas mileage: 12-17 per gallon.
I am expecting at least 150,000 miles out of this old boat.
I can't email you directly, however, if you are in the south and want to sell the car let me know. I LOVE mine. 247000 miles and still going strong, Baby needs a bit of work. I plan on full restoration. Best turning radious around. Oldsmobile and GM has no idea what they did when the stopped making this car with rear wheel drive and the quality that was put into the car. I wish I could shake hands with the workers that put the car together.
