1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham review from North America

Shocks replaced front and rear when purchased.

New tires and battery at 96,000.

Regular maintenance since owned (air filters, spark plugs, etc.)

Headliner in interior just replaced.

Car will be repainted next April (minor sun fade and cracking in paint on hood and trunk)

This car has got to be one of the best sedans ever to roll out of Detroit! This car is very sharp, from its full-leanth landaue top, to its miles of chrome trim. mine is fully loaded, and is a deep burgandy red color. All the power options including the door locks, windows, seats, antenae, cruize, etc. work like new. The car sails effortlessly down the highway like a luxury yacht, you can't feel a bump or dip in the road. The interior is very impressive with its Cadillac Brougham De'Elegance style "Button Tufted" velure, and the heavy wood and chrome trim throughout. This car is built very solid, runs extreemly well, and is very reliable asside from just looking awesome. If you are in the market for a car that will get you from point A to point B through any weather, and looks like a million bucks doing it, than this is your car. These cars would also make excellent classic/collectors cars or summer cruize cars because of their style, class, and sharp looks. These cars treat you so well, that they are definatly worth any repairs expenses, and the higher gas costs. Mine does get about 20 city and 25 highway. Not bad for its size and weight. I absolutly love my Olds!
