The suspension is not very good, and it could have some better brakes.
A very nice car, a "combat" engine. If you treat it with care, it can run for over 300 000 km without any problems.
Steady car, good performance (max. speed of 195km/h), astonishing...
A must have, with all the extras...
I agree, my kadett 160GSE is standing on 396 000km and still running good, she doesn't even smoke.
I owned a kadett 1.3n california and I like that car very much. he spent 6 liter in city and had 300 000 km. only problem that keeps me mad is his body and mechanical front parts. i was upgrade central locking, air condition, servo, digital clocks,15" toyo tires and vectra rims, bumper of gsi so as lights and many others things. he had a big trunk so I put in jvc music cca.2500wats.i would like exchange photos and e mails with other owners or fun clubs of opel kadett so please write me to hrkadettzg@yahoo.com.
