1986 Opel Kadett GL review from Greece
"A reliable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- The driving belt broke down and needed replacement.
- The original car motor (1.2hp) broke down after 5 years of continuous usage - replaced with the 1.6 motor from kadett gsi.
- All the plastics, seats, body e.t.c. are in perfect shape, considering the car's age (17 years old).
General comments?
This car is very reliable, and cheap (if you can find a kadett today). The 1.6 motor handles very well, inspite of it's age.
Recommended for those who just need a reliable means of transportation.
