2005 Perodua Myvi EZ review from Malaysia
"An excellent buy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
None.
General comments?
Roomy, spacious, very good rear legroom.
Same interior space as the Proton Wira.
Boot space acceptable for a hatchback.
Very modern/recent engineering.
Rear seats multi purpose good for kids to play/sleep, eat, etc!
Wide rear door opening angle & width to compliment rear seat multi-function!
For a car worth RM 48,300,you get digital fuel gauge & tripmeter/odometer, built-in immobiliser & other stuff normally comes with a Toyota!
The bad points are as follows!
Exterior design as dull as a Toyota, no actually worse, ugly, froggy, boring!!!
Interior, dashboard design sickening, too plain, too basic, too dull!
My sister bought a Kia Picanto & the interior/dashboard is more pleasant/interesting, & driving the Kia doesn't make you sleepy compared to the Myvi.
Lighter interior shade in the future perhaps?
Overall, the Myvi is miles ahead compared to Proton cars.
Thanks & well done, Perodua!!!
