1998 Peugeot 106 GTi review from UK and Ireland
"Great value for money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The head gasket went after I had owned it for 10,000 miles, whether this was my fault or the previous owner had thrashed it, I don't know.
The alarm always goes off, but this seems standard for a 106.
General comments?
When the head gasket went, I had the head polished and ported, fast road cams fitted and a forced induction kit with a Janspeed exhaust. A must for all 106's. I also had it lowered and stiffened, which means it turns in much sharper and comfortably out handles a standard 106. I need a supercharger, does anyone fit them in Sussex?
