2000 Peugeot 106 Zest 2 review from UK and Ireland
"A poor car, J Reg 1.1 Fiesta more reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The gear box when I change gear squeaks and I have to have the radio on very loud to drown the squeak out.
Immobilizer won't switch off I so can't start it 9 times out of 10.
Kept cutting out, told needed new plugs when it had had full service 3000 miles previously. Then had same problem and told it needed new plug leads. Still having same problem.
General comments?
The dealer was very unhelpful in trying to sort the problems I had out. Unless it showed on the ECU apparently there was nothing wrong with the car, only when the service manager drove my car there was a problem and there still is.
Seats very uncomfortable.
Pedals very close together.
