1999 Peugeot 106 GTi review from UK and Ireland
"160 bhp"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Minor niggles.
General comments?
As standard this car has great performance when being thrashed from low gears upwards beating many 2.5 litre cars and almost all hot hatches you will encounter. However get caught under 85 mph in top
and most things will keep with you until 90 when the thing wakes up in that gear.
My car's standard 120 bhp has been increased to 160 without the need for a stupid big exhaust, will reach 60 in 6.5 seconds and go on to 140mph. Most amusing for destroying bazed-up nova's and 95% of cars on the road.
