1989 Peugeot 205 XE review from UK and Ireland
"A godsend"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head gasket blew recently.
Constant velocity boot split at about 60000.
Wheel bearings went recently.
Valve stem oil seals went recently.
Had to do a full engine rebuild.
Gearbox leaks.
General comments?
This car is a little beauty.
It goes where you want it to, no questions asked.
It's a nippy, feisty little number, and very receptive to tweaking.
Good looker too.
