1990 Peugeot 205 Trio Plus review from UK and Ireland
"Cheap first car... and very stylish!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator: caused electrical problems, and last month made the car struggle on the way home from a friends, a few bangs black clouds of smoke and it gave up on me... problem was alternator according to man from Green Flag who looked at it (probable cause sticking brushes... the car had been standing for a while car running OK now.
Binding o/s back break.
Worn hand break cables (now replaced with new ones)
gaitor on o/s front perished (now replaced with new one)
Driver seat ripped... no look out for covers that stay put and don't move!!!
General comments?
Now the problems with the alternator are sorted the car pulls its self up hills with ease.
Good on fuel (approx 52 miles to the gallon I am getting)
