1989 Peugeot 205 Roland Garros review from UK and Ireland
"Loadsa show... loadsa go!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far after several months of ownership very little.
Had a problem which I believed to be ignition, so after new leads plugs rotor arm and cap, the car now runs like a dream.
General comments?
Considering the car is 13 years old (i think) it has not got a spot of rust on it, the interior is pretty mint, however the drivers seat has a slight tear in it.
As for engine well mine has only covered 69k and it goes like the clappers, considering its 8valve, theres not many car that are this nippy for their size, the reason behind their speed is simply the gearbox, which has its downfall on the motorway, when the car sounds like its pushing a ton and your only doing 70mph at 4000rpm!!
Lovely to drive, but not all day!
Mines for sale as of march 2003
