"This is a monster in every sense of the word"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The headlights are faulty.

A little rust has appeared next to the rear spoiler.

Lacquer has started to peel behind the passenger door.

The rocker cover gasket has gone.

The exhaust manifold is blowing.

General comments?

Apart from the above, I cannot fault this car.

Magnificent handling with the Dimma alloys.

Fantastic acceleration.

The best looking hot hatch ever created.

It's me again, headlights fixed, indicators fixed, new manifold, immobilizer went new fitted and in the same weekend the fuel pump relay shorted new fitted. Then the fuse for the dash board lights kept blowing, found there was a short created by the fader for the dashboard rubbing on another part of the car.

After all that there was a really annoying rattling/tapping from the engine, turns out the crank casing had shattered on the first piston the rest of them where worn so all where replaced. The only reason we think this happened was due to lack of lubrication so a new oil pump was fitted.

Apart from the above this car has to be the most fun car ever to drive and even with a blowing manifold and a rattly engine it was just as quick as a Honda Civic Type R.

Look forward to getting it back from the garage today.
