1991 Peugeot 205 GR review from UK and Ireland
"Spacious, cheap and comfortable."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator went after a couple of months as did the battery, but then a car that's covered this mileage it's expected.
Wheel bearing starting to go at 104000 but I only use the car for about 3000 miles a year and so haven't got round to changing them yet.
Passenger side rear door is stuck closed and also won't unlock.
The central locking also doesn't work on that same door as well as the passenger side front door.
General comments?
Apart from these slight glitches the cars a dam good'en and sits easily at 80mph on a motorway and I even felt safe when I push it up to 100mph which isn't bad for a 1.4.
It transported four adults and enough alcohol and camping equipment for us all from Kent to Chester with no problems at all.
