1988 Peugeot 205 XRD review from Hungary
"Learn to love it, you will never sell it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Back door totally rusted, replaced.
Half shaft spiders had a play on 10000 km, I replaced.
Starter freewheel died after 185000 km, replaced.
Diesel oil pump bearings broke after 188000 km, replaced.
General comments?
With 4.5 l/100 km the best of his age.
Not a sport car, but still dynamic.
Spare parts are unrealistic expensive.
Very reliable, very lovable.
