2000 Peugeot 206 GTi review from UK and Ireland
"Shame the dealers don't know or care about Peugeots"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The passenger seat wouldn't tilt and slide; a thick pin was found on the floor below and the dealer refitted it, but the problem reappeared after a week. They then replaced the whole seat.
The stereo sometimes won't switch on.
The GPS Nav system sometimes tells me 'The Navigation CD-ROM is unreadable' but it's perfectly OK.
The car wouldn't idle, but charging the battery cured it - honest!
The sunroof creaks and the seats rattle.
General comments?
A fun car with good roadholding and useful acceleration, but a 2.0 engine in a small body should give more power.
Pretty to look at, I bought it because of the unusual look.
