General comments?
Having been delighted with my Peugeot 306 I decided that I would need something a little bit special when I came to replace it in order to avoid disappointment. The 206 seemed the obvious choice and I wanted a diesel as I do a high mileage.
The 2.0 HDi power plant offers very impressive performance whilst retaining the economic characteristics of a normally aspirated diesel engine. Power is delivered smoothly through the rev range. I never feel the need to push the engine in this car because there is so much torque between 2 and 3 thousand revs!
Interior build quality is good on the whole. I find the mechanism, which allows the front seats to tilt forward for acces to the rear, can be temperamental.
The D Turbo comes with alloy wheels, Remote central deadlocking/Alarm, CD Player, air conditioning, ABS, tinted windows and sports front seats as standard.
I am very pleased with both the car and the service from the dealer. On collection of the vehicle I was presented with a bunch of flowers and a free camera which adds to the helpful and friendly attitude of the dealer.
