From the first day had the car I have had problems. the performance didn't feel right felt like it pulled, was taking in and put on a machine to reset some sort of electrics, cigerette lighter has never worked, after 6.000miles brakes failed was told by peugeot templegate in bristol I was to heavy footed! brakes failed again after 12.000 miles!!! am on my 4th set in 3yrs! roof has continuously leaked from I believe the arial, the hadles on the front seets have broken numerous times, so all in all I can't say I have enjoyed my 206 very much infact I wish I never ever bought it!!
The car is nippy pulls of quick and is very good on petrol.
I agree with the comments made about the cigarette lighter and seat handles. My cigarette lighter also stopped working, which also prevents you from charging your mobile, and the seat handles are always coming loose and rattle when you do 60+..
.All together the 206 is a good car to learn how to drive in, has good fuel consumption and a nice looking car, but too many small problems have made me decide to get rid.
One more thing, the rain sensitive wipers are useless and they must think people have the same size feet as the smurfs with the pedals so close together.
