1995 Peugeot 306 XSi review from UK and Ireland
"Great fun car to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Radiator eplaced.
Head gasket replaced.
All discs and pads replaced.
Clutch replaced.
Fuel gauge sensor replaced.
And loads of other minor thing, to much to list!
General comments?
This was (and still is!) my first car and despite all its faults, I don't regret buying this as it has given me tremendous fun. Good spec's and looks great (expecially after putting some 16' low profile alloys)
I will say that the clutch on this car is absolutlety horrific, very stiff with no control when parking.
But this car really excels on a twisty country road, the grip is fantastic and keep it in a high gear around 3-4 thousand revs and it flies, but the front tyres wear like crazy.
However, I would not consider another Peugeot as the build quality cannot compare to German/ Japanese cars and my next car will be on of these.
