1997 Peugeot 306 GTi-6 review from UK and Ireland

Cam belts MUST be changed every 25000 miles, if not your in trouble!

Tyres do not last as long as the tyres on my last Honda.

Does not like normal 95 unleaded petrol, lots of starting trouble unless I feed it shells optimax.

Has good days and bad days, but then I think every car does.

The seats are very nice for the age of the car, my car seems very well built, very sturdy and solid.

Very comfortable and roomy inside for front and back passengers the leather seats are a nice touch!

The car looks very stylish and chunky in all the right areas!

Fuel consumption was a little shocking going from a 1.5 litre to a 2.0 litre!

But worth every penny.

Steering is very precise with lots of feeling from the wheels, very hard to go wrong, but be warned this car will bite if rubbed up the wrong way!

I added an air filter to mine, and seems to have given it the kick it needs during the lower end of the revs, the gearbox takes care of the high end of the revs as every gear is designed to keep it going where it loves to be!

All in all, an excellent car, brings a smile to my face every time I start it up!

I haven't regretted it yet!
