1994 Peugeot 306 S16 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Drains the wallet with incessant maintenance though chews up the road"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Crank-shaft snapped.
1 or 2 cylinders have dropped out due to electrical faults brought on by hard suspension.
Little rattles have become more obvious around the dash though they come and go.
The front right coils had come dangerously loose creating a knocking sound in the casing.
General comments?
Joy to drive at cruisy speeds due to the 4 wheel steering.
It is immensely heavy and you feel it when getting off the mark.
Very nice cabin with good bucket seats.
The rear seats are not very accommodating for tall people.
One of only 100 in Australia.
118 Kw (could do with another 50-100 to make it my dream car!)
