"A Sinclair C5 would be more use if you actually want to travel anywhere"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Front suspension failed at 28,000 miles.

Drive shaft replaced at 30,000 miles.

Coil packs failed at 35,000 miles.

Stepper motor failed at 35,000 miles.

Head gasket replaced at 35,000 miles.

Temperature sensor failed at 35,000 miles.

ECU failed at 35,000 miles.

The clock goes on and off.

Trip meter resets itself.

Wheels constantly squeal.

General comments?

This car looks very nice and handles like a dream on corners.

However, it's build quality is awful.

The engine is totally unreliable.

The amount of faults I have encountered is inexcusable on a modern car.

Even with all the above items being replaced within the last month (over 1,500 pounds worth of repairs) the vehicle is still not running correctly.

I have complained to Peugeot who's comments were "cars do go wrong", rather sarcastic I thought, and offered no help or explanation as to why this vehicle will not run.

I've certainly learned my lesson!

I also had to replace coil packs, idle air control and now I am told ECU needs replacing.

Surely Peugeot should have recalled these cars!
