2001 Peugeot 306 XR Break review from United Arab Emirates
"Very pleased, even after stepping down from an Alfa Romeo!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
With the mileage I've run within the time span, its heavy (the mileage that is not the problems)
The clutch kit assembly had to be changed.
Window lifters (left side), but I'm very fidgety with the windows, up, down, up, down, you know
The exhaust - Had to rework the piping and replace the boxes!
Belts
A lot of little stuff.
General comments?
My car is swift, not G-force blasting fast (1.6 after all). Superb handling, very nimble, you'd almost forget you were not driving a coupe, but you were actually handling an estate. Excellent fuel efficiency. Sweet dimensions (not like those Mercs or Chevys) and a pretty face, but she's voracious in her cargo holding capacity. Simple dashboard, but with French-quality fittings, shame.
