Electronics are the thing I could really complain about.
Heaters changed twice.
Solenoid. Car wouldn't start!
Gauges not working Fuel speedo and rev counter Changed fuse, but don't last long.
Fan is currently not working either.
Passenger side of dashboard always falls.
Apart from the electronics and poor turning radius the car is not so bad.
Major plus point is the road holding. Handles great for a front wheel drive car. Definately best in class in this area.
The ride is great!
The engine is 92 bhp. However the car is very heavy and therefore fuel economy is not that great. 35 mpg max in city driving and performance is sluggish especially 0-60 Would expect much better from a 19 turbo diesel engine.
Ah yes I forgot this car has week breaks Be carefull.
Seats are very pleasing to the eye however tend to get uncomfortable on long rides.
You don't know what your on about mate, cars mint, handles great and good performance. I get 45-50 mpg round town n I drive it hard.
I'd agree with the last post - my S-reg non-TurboD estate gives pretty good fuel consumption despite throwing my it around a bit - I definitely agree with the first poster on the handling point (I've got an MX-5 too, and I still love the Pug's handling).
I own a d turbo 1998 306, the fuel consumption is amazing! stylish cars, easily modified, only problem I find is the turbo lag, its so annoying when you can actualy feel the car not wanting to go any faster in that gear (early gear changes + turbo lag = slow car) 3000rmp is when my turbo kicks in! not good!! but I wouldn't swap my car for the world!
