2006 Peugeot 307 1.6HDI Break review from Serbia
"Very roomy - gutless engine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Noise from fans since the car was new (fixed by dealer)
Buggy electric windows
Rear passenger side door won't open from time to time
Constant creaking from the suspension from the tiniest bumps.
General comments?
Very comfortable, and a pleasure to drive on the highway. Too heavy for the engine and needs to be driven hard to not feel the turbo lag (very evident uphill). Fuel economy good, but worse than what was expected (6.5 l/km doing 120km/h) and quite high in city driving. Quite a large car for the money, and I am quite surprised that there haven't been any problems yet, considering how many reports there have been of faulty cars on this site. But come to think of it I am getting a strange noise from the transmission at higher revs.
