2003 Peugeot 307 Rapier review from UK and Ireland
"Zero build quality"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Firstly there was with the coms unit (indicator would randomly come on, very dangerous) during warranty. This was replaced with no hassles, so I shouldn’t really complain about it.
Next the CD player decided to eat a CD. Basically a CD has got stuck. The dealer told me it could cost about £300 to replace. Complete rip off.
Then I had an airbag fault, which required another new coms unit. Now as the car already had a new coms unit fitted 16 months ago, I felt this was ridiculous. The dealer couldn’t care less.
Brake disks lasted about 15000 miles.
Now the car makes a squealing noise. It's possibly coming from the clutch, so that will be another couple of hundred to sort, no doubt.
Basically a complete rubbish car. Looks nice, but a totally quality free zone.
General comments?
I like the look of this car.
Good size.
Poor quality.
