9th Nov 2004, 09:59

"Big and slow.."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

FAULTS:

Rear suspension noise - under warranty solved

turn indicator switch fault - under warranty solved

factory recall "X1F" to ECU re-program - didn't notice any problem or difference after

radiator leakage - new radiator under warranty

horn malfunction, some times doesn't work - still to be solved.

I really hope to find and solve all faults before warranty ends...

CONS

Very weak engine for an heavy car

Low top speed

High fuel consumption.

General comments?

Very spacious, comfortable and not noisy at all.

Complete equipment on this "XT Premium" version.

Good breaks (4 disk breaks)

I had the same horn problem. It is part of the indicator unit (com2000?) which has been troublesome in loads of 307s and 206s. I am on my 4th unit which eventually fixed indicator problems, but still had horn problem. At last service dealer took it off and did something with very smooth sandpaper. They knew what do do straightaway when told of the problem. Temp fix, if horn does not work, gentle hit the side of steering wheel with your hand and it should work again :-) )

Update to my 1st review: car is now 3y old.

Horn problem solved... when I drop it for an oil change they remember my complains and told that it would be fix then... it's OK now...

New suspension noise: front and rear... no warranty this time...
