My car started to lose power suddenly one day going home from work. Next morning going to work the warning light came on with the words "Anti Pollution" also shown on panel. I rang my dealer and he came to drive it to the garage to have it checked out. I received a phone call from the dealer as I was going to lunch and I could not believe what he was telling me over the phone. He said a lot of damage had been done as a result of this pollution and it would cost 3800.00 to repair. As one can imagine I suddenly lost my appetite. I couldn't believe so much damage could happen if the filter was doing its job in the first place. Talk about modern technology. The question I would like to ask and get an answer to is this. Why didn't the car stop immediately thus eliminating the risk of further damages to other parts.? I would like to know if anyone out there experienced a similar incident. Regards. Stand by folks will let you know the results of the antipollotion saga. don't waste your money going to peugeot they don't know trust me. at present I'm still driving my 307 was told it needed new fuel system ha ha ha antipollotion light comes on and the management light stays on have been driving like this for 4 days. after many phone calls taling to peps in the trade found a auto electrian who knows what the problem is car going in for this niggly on 1 december for repair yes I'm still going drive the car. don't let any one say to you it needs new fuel system,new airintake meter or new filters. this car was put on the big computer ha this is want it found, iwill let all you other peps know the secret next week hopefully one tip if your car powers down pull over swith off leave 2 minutes start up away you go did this twice in four days. bye for now.
