1991 Peugeot 405 LX review from UK and Ireland
"A good all rounder, but my engine is underpowered"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Carburettor had to replace with new one
brake pipes due to corrison
ignition amplifier on the distributor common fault on some of the 405 models
cold starting problems, but when warmed OK
gearbox is sometimes notchy whn changing gear.
General comments?
Good car decent build quality
great handling
good anti rust protection.
