1990 Peugeot 405 SRi review from Australia and New Zealand
"A good sound car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Auto transmission required full overhaul, perhaps due to little service from other owners.
Sun roof frame rusting.
Radio had a bad earth and shorted out.
General comments?
Now we have sorted out the problems we bought, the car is good. The auto makes it a bit on the slow side on pickup and overtaking, the MG Montego would leave it for dead. The level of comfort is OK and best of all my wife loves the car.
