1989 Peugeot 405 GL review from Romania
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Not too expensive, but the model has a lower reliability then german (Volkwagen Passat&Audi 80,Opel Astra) cars!Comsumption is high (12l/km in urban mode), probably because the engine is a simple carburation sistem, not an multinjection! The service and car parts are too expensive for an romanian with medium salary! So... if you love this model of Peugeot, there's nothing to say!U love it, you buy it!! But, if you want a good car, this is not a good idea!!! I have this 405 for 3 years and it broke every 2 months, that make me very, very nervous! Deh, a french car, named..."the Mercedes of France"!!! really??? I don't think so! Now I think i'd rather buy an HINDUSTAN or TATA!!!
