Hi guys, brilliant comment on this remarkable engine. I have been involved in these engines for a long time, but I have moved to T5, T5R, R's. I have owned a limited edition 854R and must I say the fastest car I have been in. It was modified to 400+ BHP and was very fun to drive. Basically my point of this comment is that I am going to get a 406 SRi Turbo for fun and going to strip it down. So if possible can anyone tell me how much the 406 weighs and calculate the best weight distribution that I can achieve, I will be very grateful.

If you do a search for 406 specs in your search bar, you should come across a few sites with some of the info you are looking for.
As for buying a 406 for fun, you might as well buy a 405 and bang the engine in that. It would be a lot more fun and a lot more classy; a very well balanced car.
