1999 Peugeot 406 Coupe review from UK and Ireland
"Smooth, fast, still the best looking coupe there is"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had squeaking brakes, this was not fixed despite several trips to local garages, on taking it to Peugeot dealer they fitted the correct type of pads which fixed the problem.
General comments?
Excellent car, very smooth and very quiet.
Car's engine makes a lovely noise and is great in high revs, very fast.
However this is not a sports car, it's handling is soft and it is better for open roads than twisty ones.
Interior is a little dated now, but you won't care because it is such a good ride.
Pictures don't do it justice, you will stare at this car out of the window for months after buying it.
Get one.
