2007 Peugeot 407 review from UK and Ireland

This was a rental for 2 weeks while visiting Ireland. Nothing has gone wrong, but we all had problems just starting the freakin thing, and this was a new car. We met 3 other motorists that had this car and had the same problem.

All the doors rattled like nuts when you go past 60mph.

When using the washer fluid, some of it got in the car making the car smell like windex.

Brakes were squeaky.

Were not making comments as if we were owners of this car, but just as people who had unfortunate luck with this car for only 2 weeks, but drove a lot of miles in that period. We've rented other cars in the past, and never gone through anything like we did with this one.

Too much cheap plastic inside, however it has good storage space and plenty of leg room.

Ugly car, but nice color.

The seats were very uncomfortable for all of us, especially on long trips.

The emergency brake lever is very hard to pull up and hard to push down.

The radio did not have many stations that were clear, and so many had lots of static.

Everything labeled on the dashboard, which was also poorly designed, but was hard to read, especially the gas gauge; it was hard to tell how much gas we had.

Had sensitive brakes; you lightly touch the pedal and you can go through the windshield if you don't have on your safety belt on, but I thought that was cool.

It was hard to tell when the dashboard lights were on, because the way the arrows were designed on the dashboard.

Too much gimmicks on this car driving the renters crazy, and must be a nightmare for the owners.
