2005 Peugeot 407 X-Line review from UK and Ireland
"Designed for looks over true drive-ability/practicality"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Doesn't always Start first time.. nothing else so far...
General comments?
This car has brave looks and lots of useful gadgets - however it take a log time to get used to the cluttered centre console. Rear seating space is pathetic for the size of the car.
The gearbox is well thought out and user-friendly, but the engine is disappointing and lacks punch (I'm used to a 16v golf though!) with lots of turbo-lag.Fuel economy is good though.
The suspension is very inconsistent - the front end is tight and well designed, but the back end feels loose
when even turning gently
There is lots of tyre noise too..
