Alernator 300,000 km.
General comments?
What a great old car. My old girlfriend originally bought it in 1990. Don't have her anymore, but I have the car. I was scared that parts would be hard to get. The thing is it has not needed any parts! The water pump was rebuilt with an off the shelf kit as was the Bosch alternator. The rest of the powerplant has been absolutely bulletproof as has been the ZF transmission.
The car is built like a tank. It rides like a dream and has the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. I have driven it all over the north of Canada and it never failed.
I only hope Peugeot comes back to North America.
