1994 Peugeot 605 SVDT review from UK and Ireland
"Ver comfortable luxurious car, but very unreliable with bad electrics"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had two Electronic control units replaced at 450 pounds each.
Expensive, 600 pounds, problems with the air conditioning.
Problems with the Cental Locking (electrical.
Automatic Gearbox repaired at cost of 1200 Pounds.
The smallest impact would dent the thin body work.
Many problems with the lighting on the instrument panels switches etc. When talking to Dealers they were well used to Electrical problems.
Fuel line problems caused the car to stop and breakdown.
Original paintwork was of very poor quality.
General comments?
Very comfrtable car indeed and very economical for such a big car.
The peugeot dealers cahrge very high prices to service and repair.
