1997 Plymouth Breeze review from North America
"Good car, but could be better"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Timimg belt replaced, jumped timimg and had to be re-timed
front outer tie rod ends
rear brakes completely replaced
muffler
1st oxygen sensor
camshaft position sensor
driver's side upper control arm (bad ball joint)
transmission is slow to shift
lazy master cylinder causes rear brakes to drag.
General comments?
It's a sporty looking car. the engine has a lot of pep. the transmission takes too long to shift, but mechanic said nothing is wrong with it. this car averages about 24 mpg which is good when gas is $1.30 a liter. this car handles well in all seasons, just have good tires on in the winter. after reading the reviews on here I'm suprised that the head gasket hasn't gone yet.
