1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager review from North America
"A good reliable vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Okay, so I bought the van as a "previously owned" vehicle, actually, it used to be a rental van. I had it for about a year and a half before major things started to happen to it. First the brakes, then the shocks and struts. Had all the brakes done (discs and shoes), rotors turned, replaced the front struts and rear shocks. The tensioner for the serpentine belt was replaced due to some mechanic along the way of me previously owning the vehicle installed it crooked, which caused the belt to slip off.
General comments?
Other that what I described above, I have had no other problems with this vehicle. Drove from Corpus Christi, TX to Shreveport, LA (approx 500 miles) on one tank of gas, cruising at or around 80 with the A/C on. I believe that the reason that I had to replace those components was due to the fact that it was a rental before I bought it. Otherwise, I have been very happy with it.
