1995 Plymouth Neon Highline (4 door) review from North America

"Extremely poor value stay away unless you are planning to set one a-fire"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Replaced the faulty head gasket at 45,000 miles.

Replaced the faulty headgasket again at 70,000 miles.

Replaced the faulty head gasket once more at 90,000 miles.

Replaced the faulty head gasket at 116,000 miles.

Air-Conditioning went out last summer around 118,000 miles.

Car is soo loud at highway speeds it is deafening, thanks Chrysler for not putting a Over-Drive in it.

Car has terrible body quality, has severe rust under the doors and trunk, even though I wash and wax the car regularly.

Trunk trys to chop your head off all the time.

Windows continuely fall a little so it leaks water and air in.

PCV hose collapsed causing the front cam seal to blow out.

Rear spring shattered causing the struts to fail, never have seen that before.

Radio died a screeching death, well back speakers still work.

Cruise control quit working one day about 85,000 miles.

Turn signal has a wicked lil mind of its own.

Alternator went out today @ 126,000 miles (not too bad for that I guess)

Slammed the door cause I was mad the alternator died, broke the door, cheap tin metal...

Leaking rear seal, 1 quart every 140 miles.

General comments?

Car does have a great handling characteristics, but is the most un-reliable hunk of junk that you will ever see, too bad too cause they are kind of cute to look at and the seats aren't all that bad for a small car.

I did get in an accident last month and the guy hit me only going 5 mph, but did $2100 worth of damage, so they are just like driving around in a tin can :' (

This has by far been the most expensive unreliable car I have ever owned. I hate to say this, but I will probably never own another Chrysler product, based up this and another vehicle that I have owned with similar problems : (
