1995 Plymouth Neon Highline review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The head gasket went at 39k miles. The dealer told me that they are known to go on the 95 Neons. They explained that the gaskets were made out of a composite instead of metal and that they can't withstand the heat and pressure. The Chrysler Corp. knew they wouldn't work, but they used up the composite gaskets before they started installing the metal gaskets. What gets me is it's not a recall because it's not life threatening! Also, had to replace the oxygen sensors and had a problem with the computer.
General comments?
I would never buy another automobile that is made by the Chrysler Corp. and I wouldn't recommend that anyone else do so either.
