1981 Plymouth Reliant K review from North America
"Anyone want to sell me their 1981 Aries or Reliant K"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Does anyone know where I could find another one?
Many transmission problems.
Lost a lot of hubcaps and they were hard to come by at junkyards.
A lot of people made fun of the fact that it was "dog doo brown"
General comments?
I loved my 1981 Plymouth Reliant K. Everyone made fun of the fact that I drove a K-car.
My favorite thing about it was the abnormally large shift knob on the 5-speed manual transmission.
My cousin gave me this car because she was just plain sick of it. After the clutch went on it and I bought another car I limped the K-car into the garage where it sat buried under boxes etc for about 2yrs until we moved and without my permission my mom junked it. I didn't even get the chance to take that abnormally large shift knob off of it for a souvenir.
If anyone knows where I can find another 1981 4dr Plymouth Reliant K with a manual transmission please comment on this review.
