1980 Plymouth Volare Sedan review from North America
"One of the best all-around cars on the road"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
This car is extremely reliable, comfortable, and spacious.
I purchased the car for the original owner who drove it everyday to Honolulu Airport where he worked, and now I drive it everyday to Honolulu airport and park it in the same lot.
It has run perfectly for all these miles, but the engine had to be rebuilt in 2004 due to loss of compression.
In a land where cars rust from day one, this car has none.
Even the dash and interior are perfect and a really nice blue color.
Chrome is still perfect.
Original everything from hubcaps to the spare tire (never used). Only routine maintenance things replaced.
I can fit all of my bass equipment in the trunck and the drums in the back seat.
Bubble is the best band in Hawaii.
