1998 Plymouth Voyager review from North America
"This van has been the worst car I have ever owned and I will never buy from Chrysler again!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The driver side and passenger side window seals leaked when we first got it. We took it back numerous times for the problem to be fixed. They still leak anytime it rains hard or we get it washed.
The front rack went at 40,000 miles.
The head gasket blew less than 500 miles out of warranty and Chrysler would only pay for half the cost.
The air conditioner went at 55,000 miles. We have since had 2 additional ones replaced.
The transmission went at 75,000 miles.
The power control module went at 80,000 miles.
The controls in the dash for the heating and air conditioning have had to be replaced.
The water pump was replaced at 40,000 miles.
General comments?
I am starting to wonder if it is really lemon yellow under its purple paint.
I am quite disappointed in this van as Chrysler's dodge caravan has been rated so highly and this is under the same parent company.
This cars only good point is the dual sliding doors, and that it holds our four children.
Seats are uncomfortable for long trips.
