"Great vehicle, but serious design flaws"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The transmission went out and when we took that out we found the CV boot was ripped. After getting the transmission fixed and reinstalled we redid the CV boot, then we found that we could not get the axle in right. During the aging of the vehicle the motor mounts had spread out causing the CV boot to tear which caused the transmission to fail. The answer is to check your CV boot when doing oil changes and we ended up having to have an axle 1" longer installed to correct the problem.
We also had to have a new rear main seal installed.
General comments?
We like the voyage for the room it gave us. and it handled beautifully and was fuel efficient, however the repairs we had to make was costly.
